We always get excited when our customers come in and share projects they have created using products they purchased at our store. We often joke that we watch it leave and never know what happens to it. The other day Denae was in and telling me about a quick and easy album she was creating as a gift, using mainly two of my favorite things: Quickutz and cardstock. I asked her to bring it in and I just loved it and wanted to share it with you.
She recently purchased one of the Quickutz "Relax" gift sets:
After going on vacation with her family, she decided to created a mini album as a gift. She limited herself to this gift set (and a few other Quickutz dies), cardstock, and some brads. Here are a few of her pages:
*Remember, you can click on each photo to see a larger image.
She commented she would not have done an album like this for herself, because she would feel it needed to be embellished more and she would try to incorporate more techniques into it. Since this was a gift for someone who does not scrapbook, she did not feel any pressure to do that, so this album was quick, easy, and FUN! I think it looks great! Thanks Denae for letting me share.
We recently received a few more gift sets, so ALL FOUR styles are now in stock!
These are such a great deal at only $89.99 each! You get an alphabet, lots of shape dies, and the cutest tote bag to match each of them. Plus, there is an entry code in the box to register for a FREE trip for two to Hawaii given away by Quickutz. The dies are even the same color as the box!
One of my favorites is Reuse, and I think we should give one away here on the blog to one of you who are reading right now. Leave a comment below telling me which type of Quickutz fonts you like the best: 2x2, Cookie Cutter, 4x8 all-in-one, or the ones you cut with the Silhouette. If you have one particular font you absolutely love, tell me that too! I will draw one winner from all the comments listed by Tuesday, June 30th and announce the winner in the July 1st email!

I think the Bouquet mini alphabet set is the neatest. It is very versatile.

There are so many that it's hard to choose, but the one I tend to go to the most is Vixen, strange since it's a Christmas font.

I love the Silhouette. I wish they would make it Mac compatible!

I LOVE the 4x8 Dragonfly...It's such a fun font to use when making things for my daughter, and I love that I can cut all letters with one pass!

I like the 4X8 CHANDELIER. It is very pretty in combination with an eyelet border punch, for a delicate look on a baby girl or wedding page.

My favorite font is Diesel. It makes a great heading because of it's size.

I love the cookie cutter style of QK font. I like to use patterned paper for my titles and can arrange the letters to get the best use of the paper. Diesel is one of my favorites

I've been a QK fanatic since the very beginning and have been a lover of the 2x2 dies. But I have to say, I'm in love with the 4x8's and cookie cutters too!

I LOVE my Silhouette and depend on it for most cuts, but will have to catch up with the rest of the QuicKutz items at some point! :-D

My favorite font is Tangerine. I like having the option of using it with a shadow or by itself. I've used this font more than the others.

My most favorite Quickutz font in the world is Zelda! I am so glad they brought it back and even bigger then before. I have a Silhouette and love to cut all my true type fonts that are on my computer already, plus I have many other fonts from my many CK Creative Clips and Fonts cd's. I love Quickutz fonts weather using my Squeeze, Revolution, or Silhouette...so many options!

I love the new Zelda on the 4x8 dies. Zelda has always been one of my very favorites and I have the 2x2 set. I was very excited to get the 4x8 set and can't wait to use it.

I would love to own some of the cookie cutters, especially Magnolia since it's so feminine and graceful, but I am loving the 4x8 fonts since they're so quick and easy to use but out of my 2x2 fonts I'm quick to use Maggie whenever I have a need for letters.

I like most all of the fonts. Each one has a special personality. I use small ones most on my cards. Really I wish I had more of them. Frances Jane Blackwell

I love them all but Silhouette is my favorite for ease and storage. Wish they had some of the 4x4 in that version. Would love the "Reuse"

Of the new gift sets, I like Reuse the best because the dies are very different from other 2X2 dies that I already have. I can't pick one very favorite font.....I love too many of them.

I love the cookie cutter fonts. They are quicker and use less cardstock. My favorite font is nutmeg. To me it is just the right size for my pages.

Diesel is still my favorite!

I think most scrappers purchase fonts that fit our personalities, so I love my Dragonfly font! Its fun, sassy, and small enough to pair with many punched shapes to create a unique look for my pages.

I love all of my fonts and use them regularly. I really like to mix different fonts on a page. I have been giving Diesel a serious workout since it made its way into my collection, and it looks great when it is paired with Flirt!

This is an older one, but Sophie is still one of my favorites, especially since I have little girls.
